EA stocks take a hit on Battlefield 4

So it seems like EA is hurting a bit because Battlefield 4 sales plummeted this week. We all know that the launch sales were pretty good but not great (I expected it). They managed to sell about 662k copies of the game which made sense because a lot of people already owned it. What they weren't expecting was the fact that sales dropped by almost half now.

Part of it could be the fact that there seems to be issues with Battlefield 4 that EA insists don't exist.

EA/Battlefield 4 vs Gamers

It dropped a couple bucks last week. Do they have an earnings report or something coming out this week? It was up almost 2% today. I don't think Battlefield makes up a huge percentage of their revenue, although I could be wrong. Pretty big company, I hardly think one game will affect their overall earnings that much.

BF4 is awesome, I really hope they keep doing dlc and awesome stuff. I still can't find slim jim codes for battlepacks :'( that saddens me.

The big problem for PS4 sells is the fact that the servers are just plain awful. The signature 64 player conquest mode doesn't even work. If you manage to get into a game you get booted within a couple of minutes.

I don't know how anyone could stomach Battlefield on the PlayStation 4 in any case -- for me, that'll always be a PC game. How do you aim quickly with that stick!?

In any case, it sucks that they're having such a difficult time accommodating the numbers of folks that they need to. I don't think many people enjoy playing Battlefield with less than 32 people (at minimum) on most maps, so they're going to need these issues quickly or their sales and stock will continue to plummet.
