EU PS4 to USA

Hi everybody:

A year ago I bought a PS4 in Spain (220 volts) and I am going to fly to USA (110 volts) next month.

Has anyone plugged a PS4 in a US socket just changing the plug?

I have read dozens of posts stating that it should work, (what I appreciate) but I have been unable to find someone that has really done it. I suppose that you understand that I have to be completely sure.

Thanks in advance for all your help.

Yes, it will work. The power supply in the PS4 is made to work on 110-120 & 220-240 volt. You will just need the correct plug. There are a few articles on other gaming forum where people have tested this, and had no issues.

The PS4 can be used from 110V to 240V with no problems.

It will only use more current if you plug into 110V so you should use a bigger section cable, expecially if you have other devices connected, like the PSCam.
If you don't want to change the cable, at least check its temperature after some minutes of working. If it tends to warm up, change it ;)
