Everquest Next will be released on PS4 later down the line

Sony Online Entertainment has clearly reiterated that they are focusing on PC release of Everquest Next, but PS4 is not out of their radar. It will be coming later on to our beloved platform. It's good to know that they are not ruling out the PS4 release. What do you say? Have you seen the game in action yet?

“You know the company knows a lot about the PlayStation 4 – look at DC Universe Online and Planetside 2 – so we have a lot of people becoming extraordinarily knowledgeable with that box. We’re not adverse to the idea, but we’re not going down that path yet.”

Well, it could be worse in my opinion. They could decide to not even release it on the PlayStation 4 at all and leave it as a PC exclusive. So, I'm actually ok with this information. Still, hopefully if the game is released on the PlayStation 4, it won't take to long to be released. I'm thinking it will probably be around 6 months or so before it comes to the PS4.

Yep, but I don't think they will leave PS4 behind too much. It's coming sooner rather than later. They will want to make use of the freshness and launch the game on PS4 before it's stale.
