Everybody's Gone to the Rapture Not Coming Soon

So I've really been looking forward to this game and it's kind of sucks that it's so far off. I'm not sure what happened other than the fact that thechineseroom just finished the Amnesia DLC but the devs have confirmed that there is no release date for the game at all on their twitter. That's a shame because we need more good horror games.

No one's going to Rapture

What the hell!? I hate when this happens, I want this! Thanks for posting broskie, maybe that just means it'll be that much more epic?

I can see them wanting to take a little break but honestly we need more horror games in the world. Last generation were pretty devoid of good horror and until Amnesia I would argue that the genre had pretty much died out until a late resurgence at the end of the console cycle. Hopefully this isn't a long delay and we hear something about Rapture soon. I was really looking forward to it.

Well, another title that i was expecting that i will have to wait some more to see how it will come out. Let's just hope it's not another Last Guardian...

It just seems like more and more titles are being delayed for various reasons but I really want another good horror game. After Amnesia all we had was Outlast and who knows when that team is going to bring something new to the table. Horror has just started making a real comeback in gaming, I would hate to see the momentum that the genre has gotten slow down.

That's a bummer. I can understand why they would want to take a break, the release of the Amnesia DLC wasn't that long ago but hopefully they come back soon and get back to Rapture. It looks amazing, and we need more true horror games out there. Amnesia is still on my mind, so another horror game that is actually frightening would be welcome.

The end of the year was turning out so well to when it came to horror franchises. It really felt like the genre was making a comeback with great games like Amnesia: Bay of Pigs and Outlast. It felt like horror games were becoming viable again only to have it cut short. Hopefully they get back to developing soon.
