Favorite Games Per Franchise

Almost every title has different versions for it for each console, so which versions of PS games per franchise did you like most?

For me, it's:

GTA: Liberty City Stories (PS2, PSP)
Final Fantasy VIII (PS1)
God of War: Chains of Olympus (PSP)
Burnout: Revenge (PS2)
Castlevania: SotN (PS1)
Devil May Cry (PS1)
Street Fighter: Alpha (PS1)
Tomb Raider 2 (PS1) - Haven't tried out the latest one yet, but I played 2 when I was younger so it's probably always going to be better to me.

List down some of your own! I'm sure I missed a lot of noteworthy ones.

I agree with the things that you presented above aside from the following:
For GTA, I'd choose San Andreas
For God of War, I'd chose part 2 for the PS2

In addition to what you have said, let me list these:

I know I have many newer games on this list , but hey, they are fun. My favorite is definitely burnout, I played a lot of that with friends

God Of War franchise
And resident evil, not the entire franchise but resident evil 4 was my favorite.

Tenchu 1, 2, Wrath of Heaven

Dynasty Warriors and GTA: SA are my top favorite games, along with Manhunt.

Thank you for mentioning Fatal Frame BlackSolaris. I forgot to put it on my list. However, I like Fatal Frame 3: The Tormented much better than Crimson Butterfly. I found it to be a lot more chilling. It was claustrophobic, yes, since you mainly explore an old Manson, but it added more to the tension.
