Favorite Twisted Metal game

You all may find this shocking but I pick 4 (perhaps the most hated besides 3). The reasons range from Killer soundtrack, Great replay, and I actually love the gameplay and controls. Did I mention Rob Freakin' Zombie?!?!?!?! What is your favorite in the series?

If I remember it correctly, I might have had the most fun on Twisted Metal: Head On for the PS2. Although, honestly, by then, me and my friends have probably moved on to fighting games. We probably played mostly on the PS1, but I think the PS2 version was a lot more refined and also much more fun, obviously, since they had better technology for it. I also liked the PSP version, and played that with my friends as well, but that felt a little awkward, though still very good.

Twisted Metal Black for the PS 2. It's the game that revitalized the franchise. It's the ultimate car combat game on the PS 2. Its violent, it's full of psychotic characters, and it's ultimately fun. It was a breath of fresh air after the TM3 and 4 disaster.

Black it was just a huge step forward and really good compared to the other ones, altough the new one is pretty good too.

I'm going with Twisted Metal 3 because I felt like they found their stride and they could have lost it as they went forward, but they only continued to get better. Three was iconic, because it brought in so many gamers and it offered such a great couch co-op style play that everybody in your group of friends would grab it. The levels were some of the most thought out and best levels presented in the Twisted Metal series. From the dark gritty beginning, to destroying the buildings in London, to fighting on an air blimp. Things were brilliant and there was only one course of action to take, get those power ups and destroy everything in sight!

I thought Twisted Metal Black was one of the coolest, and well designed games on the PS2. I loved the gritty story lines, and the way they made Sweet tooth such a dark and interesting character. I also thought it has such a good soundtrack. It was really top-notch in all aspects.

My favorite twisted metal out of the entire franchise has definitely got to be twisted metal 1. I had the most fun playing this game than many other PlayStation titles I had played at the time.

Like everyone else it is a toss up between Twisted Metal Black and TM2. I look forward to seeing the franchise, hopefully, make its way to the PS4.
