February's Playstation + games leaked early!

Well, I have to say that this lineup is a great reason to become a PSN+ member if you have been thinking about it, but haven't quite made the commitment yet. This list hasn't been confirmed by Sony yet though, so itstill could be something different.

According to a memo sent to GamePointsNow, console gamers with PlayStation Plus accounts can expect to receive survival horror title Outlast on the PS4, while PS3 owners will be able to download Irrational’s Bioshock: Infinite and post-apocalyptic shooter Metro: Last Light. For those with a PS Vita, Dynasty Warriors: Next and Modnation Racers: Roadtrip will be added to the download list.

Outlast is great. I have it on Steam and if you like being scared (which I do), this will definitely do the trick for you! I was playing a few weeks ago and my puppy was sleeping right next to me on the couch. Some crazy guy jumped out at me in the game, I screamed, Cooper (my dog) started barking like crazy because I scared the daylights out of him, which woke up my husband. It was pretty funny.

As for the others, I can't say that I've played them, but hey, who doesn't like free, right?

If it's true I can get Outlast then I'd be ecstatic. I've been wanting to play Outlast forever, I hope this is real. I thought Bioshock Infinite is this month's free game for PS3, is it? I haven't touched my PS3 ever since I got the PS4 so I don't know.

Bioshock Infinite I played for a few hours and loved it, but yet never played it again and even traded it in. Now I can grab it and finish it off. And Metro: Last Light I've had an interest in. Hopefully these become true (and available in the EU)

This is an impressive lineup for February. I never picked up Bioshock: Infinite and only played Metro over a friend's house. If they're going to be available for next month I'm definitely snagging them.

On a scale of 1-10 how scary is it? :D

Plus, do you get scared easily? ;)

And finally, roughly how long is the game?

I will probably download this as I rarely say no to free games, but a little bit of insight to get me further more interested in the game would be appreciated :D

Wow - That's a great month!

Seriously, having played both Bioshock and Last Light, PS3 owners are in for one hell of a time!

Bioshock in particular is one of the best games of the last few years. I thoroughly recommend picking it up if you've got a PS3 and PS+!

I've heard great things about Outlast too ... can't wait to scare myself senseless with that on the new PS4! :D

Meh, I thought Bioshock Infinite was ok. Wasn't great but it wasn't horrible either.

If this is true for PS+, I'm getting those PS3 games. Live really needs to step its game up with Games With Gold.

Agreed, it's rather embarrassing at times when you're comparing the two consoles and their free offerings.

No, I don't get scared easily. This does have some good "jump out at you when you're least expecting it" moments though. As far as creepiness goes, I'd give it a 7 or 8, but like I said, I'm pretty tough on scary titles. I don't generally get scared.

As far as how long it is, I haven't finished it yet, although looking online, it looks like it's roughly 5-7 hours long.

Let me know what you think if you end up playing it!

Sony is really trying to get some more PSN+ subscribers since they are improving it a lot. I don't see myself subscribing but, for those who can spend that extra money, go for it.

One of my friends spoke highly of PS+ before I even considered getting the PS4. It just seemed a no brainer for me. cost isn't too much of an issue for me because i've been so used to paying for Xbox Live the past 5 years.

People swear by Bishock Infinite. Swear by it.

Putting the offerings side by side it's like "Really, Microsoft?" I have Gold, but those free offerings don't exactly inspire a "YES! This is what I'm talking about!"

Because Zeus and his studio developed the game and had it printed to gold discs then put out eternal life DLC.

Live Gold is offering free games, so it's half "Don't look a gift horse in the mouth" and half "These gifts are a little weak." They need to dig deep in that library and pull out some good ones.

...like you're asking for change for a $10 and they're giving you a few good dollars more more wrinkled and worn bills that the snack machine just ain't going to take.

Why though?? It was hardly ground-breaking, it wasn't revolutionary, the graphics were not the best. The only thing I really enjoyed about the game was the music.

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun and Tainted Love had never sounded so good!

I'll be honest and say Fable 3 was great for a free game, I really enjoyed playing that.. I've only downloaded one other game since then and that was Ascend: Hand of Kul on Friday night. I'll be deleting that this weekend as i just find it boring.

Mind you, Sleeping Dogs is another great game, if it wasn't for the fact that I've already played it and completed most of the side missions, and the fact that there is no co-op/MP offering, I would have downloaded that too.

I've read that as of tomorrow the new free game is Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, not bad, and I will probably download it, but in terms of rating the offer it's a 4/10 for me.

PS - Great analogy

Damn it, Ranger. :(

Yeah, well um...because...

...I've got nothing.

I forgot about Sleeping Dogs being offered. I already had that though.
