Final Fantasy XV

So, Final Fantasy Versus XII just got announced with a new game and with a awesome trailer exclusive to the PS4 and PS3.

Finally, after all these years we can finally play the game.

It looked great. I've never really played a Final Fantasy game - only about a couple of hours of FFXIII - but the trailer impressed me alot!

The game that disappeared off the face of the earth gets a mention again... except for a new console... to be honest, as much as I've wanted this game for years, I have my doubts... firstly because of the track record it has, it's shown to be rather unstable, and secondly because of the new direction Square Enix has been taking especially towards social gaming...
I feel as though they should have finished it much longer ago, and I know a few friends that are peeved since they got their PS3s with Versus in mind, but never got it...
Hopefully, Square does it properly, and doesn't taint it with poor "social integration"

It looks really nice, but like Seiryu, I'm skeptical since they are doing a lot of new stuff with it, which I totally support by the way. Still, this being one of the few franchise titles that I actually look forward to, I will most definitely buy it so I can try it out for myself even if the reviews turn out to be bad. The only thing I don't like too much is that the colors seem to be a little too muted, as is with most games nowadays, and I've always liked FF's colorful aspect.

We waited a long time this game anyway ...
When announced in 2006, under the name Final Fantasy Versus, I never thought I'd wait so long.

As the game is released on PS4, we can expect something beautiful graphically. It's 100% sure that I buy this game collector's edition.

Anyway, I'm patient ... Square Enix has a lot more to offer us in the meantime.

This game is long overdue. The hype surrounding the game no longer is as strong as it was before. Anyway, the game would probably look good nonetheless since square is known for making beautiful looking games. I wonder if the gameplay would be as good as the graphics though since Square has made some questionable moves regarding their recent games.

I think Final Fantasy is a pretty blessed franchise still. Say what you will, but speaking for myself all of the main title games (non-MMO) have been good. I've had fun with every one of them, even the ones that have had mixed reception, are still much better than some of the status quo elsewhere. Its a franchise that continues to have high expectations (which encourages high disappointments) but still has reliable quality that can appeal to a wide audience of tastes. I have faith this next installment will be a fun game.

I actually haven't heard much about the Final Fantasy games coming out for PS4. I haven't even seen the trailers for them yet, but since the games looked good even in the PS2 days, I'm really excited to see what they'll look like now.

Yeah it doesn't seem this will get made anytime soon. Though I saw a few pictures on the FF facebook.

I'm willing to wait for it. I want Final Fantasy to grow and evolve before it launches on a new console and even though it looks like we have a bit of a wait I'm willing to hold off if only so that we get a great game. I've been disappointed with recent entries so I'm hoping that Square really impresses with XV.
