Finally got around to Second Son...

...and all I have to say is, "Why did I wait so long?" I knew this was going to be the game that made me forget everything, but dang, it's awesome. I love how they don't wait to give you the awesome parkour stuff, and the training missions never feel like they're teaching you the game. Sorry I ignored you on Mother's Day, mom, but I was having too much fun with Second Son.

Such a good game! It is one of those that is really easy to pick up and play for short periods of time. I tend to spend more time doing the side missions than anything else. I like going and exploring the city, and not necessarily doing much of anything besides cool flips.

it was a good game to be sure, and the hype surrounding it was not unfounded, I've only been playing for a few hours and I'm already hooked

Let me know what you think come the game's end. I know this thread is old, you have to have beaten it by now. The game was just OK to me...

Yeah it is a really good game. I really like it. Many people did not like it and I was trying to figure out why. Anyways I am glad that you like it and I hope you have fun playing. I am still playing and I plan on doing the evil side after I play the good side.

I'm glad people are liking the game, I loved playing through it even though I did it because it was the first (at the time only) game I had for the PS4, but even if I wasn't too excited to play it, once I started I loved it.
The story is interesting enough to play through twice (taking good or evil side) and the gameplay is very solid.

That's the main selling point of this game for me. It's a really great story and seeing it from 2 sides adds a lot of depth to it. I'm not sure if they'll make another Infamous game but I'm definitely gonna get it, because I've loved all of them so far.

Definitely the best part, the first time I finished the game (as a good guy) I immediately wanted to start a new playthrough as a bad guy :)
Not many games make you want to start over right away, usually you play something else in between playthroughs.

I had the opposite reaction. When I finished my first playthrough as a good guy, I dreaded playing through again as a bad guy--just for the sake of getting the trophy. I kept putting it off and eventually traded the game in for about $35-40. The missions and what not were just so repetitive, I could not put myself through that a second time. I did however enjoy the relationship between the two brothers.

Possibly you did your first playthrough as a "what would I do" run?
I know I sometimes thought about making the bad decision but would force myself to do the good thing, which is why I was curious as to what would happen in my second playthrough...

I know I am weeks behind, but I just started this game over the weekend and so far really enjoy it. Super graphics and very fun to play.
