First PS1 game you played?

The first PS1 game that I played was Micro Machines. I honestly though it was an awesome game when I first played it. I was over a friends house when I first played it, and was really angry when it was time to go home, lol. I found it really addictive, and though it was really clever how they used everyday objects and such to make up the race track, I was really impressed. What was the first game you played for the PS1?

I think it's Suikoden II. I loved playing RPG and it was the first game that my brother bought. That started my addiction to the Suikoden series and also made me familiar with the Final Fantasy games.

I still remember like it was yesterday. I went to a friend's house and he had this brand new console i never seen in my life with a copy of this game called Ape Escape. I only had a Genesis back in the day, so as soon as he put that bad boy in and booted up the console, i was blown away!

I first played Rising Zan: The Samurai Gunman I think. It was like Def May Cry wherein the hero could wield a sword and a gun at the same time. It was a pretty good game for me because it was the very first game that I played. But when I moved on to other titles, I quickly forgot about it.

I played a Resident Evil game the first time, although I wasn't playing alone, and I was just exchanging controllers with my friends in between stages. Still, I got a good feel for it instantly and I was thoroughly amazed and entertained. I preferred watching it to playing it, though, it's one of those games that was enjoyable even as a spectator.

Gah, I forgot the name, but I can remember the gameplay. It was a fighting game wherein you could pick 4 characters and you had to finish a stage with a time-limit, just like Tekken force. Can anyone help recall the game for me?

The first PS1 game i played was Rugrats Search For Reptar. Haha. I was only about 8 at the time and i was hooked on the game. I played it everyday.

I think the first PS1 game I played was one in the Crash Bandicoot series, but I don't remember which one. My uncle got a PS1 at some point and rented a couple of games, and he let my sister and I play a bit. We eventually got one of our own, and the first game I played on our own console was the Star Wars Episode I game--which was pretty awful. I could never get past the first or second level, but it was still a lot of fun back then. Nowadays I know to avoid games based on movies, but back then that was all we had.

My first Playstation game I have ever played was either Tony Hawk or Spyro the Dragon. I really can't remember which one because it was so long ago, but I know it's either of the two. Awesome games!!! :D

I have always heard great praise for Spyro the Dragon games. But, interestingly, I never played a single one of the Spyro games. They just never had any appeal to me. The visuals looked to kiddy. That's probably why I was turned off by the games.

I played Tony Hawk on the N64 before I played it on the PS1. Since the first one came out, I played most games on my Gamecube, but I think I preferred them on the PlayStation consoles. I wish they'd make more Tony Hawk games along the lines of the first few, but at least they re-released the first one on PSN.

The first game I played was the one that came in the bundle I bought and it was Resident Evil, I remember it very well because of that moment the first Zombie turns round to look at you, it made me jump right out of my skin and I remember thinking that the games for this machine are going to be great.

My first PS1 game was definitely Twisted Metal 1. I remember just being blown away by the graphics and thinking "Man, it just won't get any better than this in the future." Kind of silly looking back but I still consider those graphics charming in a nostalgic sort of way.

The first game I played was called Ape escape. I remember being impressed by the graphics on the game...but looking back now it almost makes me chuckle.

Final Fantasy VII is the first PS1 game I've been introduced to back in 1997. I recall having first memories of playing this game as my younger brother left the game for me.

Rugrats Search For Reptar was the first game i have ever played and it was incredible at the time. Rugrats was one of my favorite shows as a kid and the game was a blast. I like the storyline and the settings for the game. I got to go to a supermarket, an amusement park, a toystore, etc. It was great.
