First reviews for Killzone: Shadow Fall, Knack, Contrast and Resogun are online!

Ok, so next-gen is THIS far away. Less then 24 hours for the US, but still an agonizing two weeks for EU and even longer (Feb 2014) for Japan! And already, you can find the reviews for four PS4 launch titles all around the world wide web. So here's what a majority have to say via Metacritic:

KILLZONE: SHADOW FALL - 74/100

KNACK - 59/100

CONTRAST - 67/100

RESOGUN - 82/100

Gametrailers have given Killzone: SF a 8.8, Knack a 5.0, Contrast with a 8.5 and finally Resogun a 8.1.

IGN - Killzone: SF an 8.0, Knack a 5.9 and Resogun a 9.0.

Honestly, I'm surprised about Knack. I really thought that title was going to be a terrific launch title. Apparently not.

I'm not surprised. I have dissed Killzone before here in this forum. I have compared it to Halo and said that Halo was better and a lot of members jumped at me saying that KillZone is not competing with Halo. With these recent reviews, I think they were right. KillZone is not competing with Halo. Halo is in another league of its own and Killzone just can't compete... at the level of Halo...

Man, I wanted Killzone to be THE FPS game that would finally make you proud you own a Sony console. It's a great game, but it does not transcend to the top of the genre. I guess we'll have to wait for Destiny. Wait, is Destiny even a PS4 exclusive?

Nope. Destiny is multi-platform.

I was also hoping the new Killzone would be THE game to have for the PS4. When the day comes with me getting a PS4 (probs a year away) I know I'll be playing the game regardless of reviews, but hey scores around 8 ain't that bad I guess.

I think Knack's review was completed by someone who genuinely dislikes the genre it stands for. From what ive heard from others, they rate it around the 7.5-8 mark.
