Football Manager

Does anyone play Football Manager here?
I guess it's more of a European thing but it's the game I have the most hours played on (290 so far)

Do you prefer playing big teams or starting small and building your team up?

Well I have not played it in a while considering that I don't own it my friend does but I find simulator games to be strangely relaxing and easy to sit down to play for a couple hours at a time. I know the couples times I have played the game I went with a smaller team so that I could properly handle them all and make them the best team possible.
Are there any other simulator games you enjoy, I know I really love playing Euro Truck 2 even though I can sometimes forget to drive on the left side of the road when needed since I live in the USA. I am going to have to say that simulator games are starting to get better using Euro Truck 2 and Football Manager as examples.

This game seems to be a bit of an odd phenomenon, it is extremely popular on Steam yet it would seem that this kind of a game would apply to a very niche audience. I personally don't play it because I don't enjoy football, but it is curious to see how the game is and has been popular for a very long time. I do enjoy some other simulator games, for example the Train Simulator 2013 is quite pleasant to play on a bad day.

You can't really says it's a niche audience when football (soccer) is the most watched and played sport in the world
