This game got me, and it got me good. The story, the platforming, the voice acting, the combat, it's all great! I even enjoyed going after the collectibles, and that is something I normally detest. (I take that back, I completely forgot about the gps caches just like I did during the game.) The crafting of the weapons was also well done, and it helped set up the whole "survivor" vibe.

I think I fell in love with this game when Lara got her first kill. So intense, and probably traumatic. In fact, after killing the hundred or so guys she does throughout the game, Lara might want to look into some counseling.

It's not all puppy dogs and rainbows, though. I could have done without the quick time events, and the game is just a little too easy - hence the title to this thread. Overall, however, this game ought to be near the top of any PS4 game ranking. Sure, it's a port, but it's the second-best port around.

If you haven't played it yet, play it! And play it on PS4, because it's so darn pretty.

I just started this game for the 4th time and I'm enjoying it like it was the 1st, maybe more. Lara, I love you!! LOL!! 0:

I was playing this on PC. I didn't find it all that easy. Though I'm a console gamer playing it on PC so I was fumbling around a lot lol. It is high on the list to play. Need to hook up my PS4 controller and start from the beginning. As far as reboots go (and generally I'm critical of them), I really did enjoy this one.

I have played the very first Tomb Raider on PC, when Lara was made of a dozen of polygons and that was it... ah! Lara!! :p
I gave up playing videogames on PC at the time of The Sims and Simcity, tired of running after upgrades, direct X, drivers, video cards, sound blaster and master blaster. In my opinion, this is a game to be played on a console. The difficulty... uhm... have you tried to set combats at the higher level? They're a real challenge, very fun.

I agree with Alex. I'm more of a console person. Controls are better and the experience is smoother.
This game was amazing. I enjoyed it but found it a bit to easy at times. Well, I'm jut trying to complain about something lol.

The tombs are easy to open, yes. Some combats are easy too, but with a high difficulty level you can have your troubles.
Trophies could be a good path to experiment new fighting methods, so it looks like you're playing the game for the first time, or almost (for example, you decide to make the entire story only with the 9mm gun).

Since it's complaining time, I've something to complain about too: The Rise of Tomb Raider is an exclusive for XB1 and we don't know how much time we will wait to have it on PS4. Tomb Raider is my favourite game absolutely, I like everything of this game, even the person who made the model for Lara (Camilla Luddington). So... I am terribly upset for that... lol.

Everything you said... total agreement here.
