Full On Parasite Eve HD Remake. Who's With Me?

I would love to see a full on, absolutely modern, high-end HD remake of the first two Parasite Eve games. Those games were so epic that Chuck Norris played them to learn what epic was all about. Plus, come on.. we need more Aya Brea shower scenes. She gets real dirty in those games.. girl needs some alone time to cleanse her dark, dark, world.

Sure, if they manage to leave that... third game out of it, then i would be on. I really enjoyed the first two, even thought Resident Evil was more on during that time they were released.

Ah, I remember reading some reviews of Parasite Eve 2 and they mentioned the shower scene. I purchased the game for that sole purpose alone. I remember having a separate save file for that shower scene alone so that I could get back to it whenever I want to. Lol. Aside from the shower scene, I'm extremely glad I picked it up. It was a very unique game that had a lot of scary moments and cool scenes.

I have both games and love them. I would like to see a third one in the series and I would definitely buy it. I purchased the first game on sale and got the second when it came out. I was not disappointed either.

There actually is a third game but.. well.. no.. just no. They let the licensing run out on the original book or whatever it was. The third one was not like the first two. Aya Brea is so overlooked as a game heroine.

...I want to have a definite position on this, but I can just barely recall this series - weird. I remember the commercials if I take a moment and I remember some set pieces and I remember something regarding cosplay... but the overall memory of events is failing me. I guess I just don't care enough? Weird.

They would have to overhaul the gameplay big time and make it a bit more action oriented, because let's face it, gamers these days don't have the attention span for something as slow paced as Parasite Eve. It's a great game, but even I've never been able to play through it again because yeah....it gets boring.

It's a great game, but even I've never been able to play through it again because yeah....it gets boring.

Maybe that's it? Because I know I played this game - I just can't remember it very well. I guess it just wasn't memorable enough for me, although I do recall the franchise with fondness. Ah, well.

Well, they did make a new game entitled, "The Third Birthday". Unfortunately, it pretty much blew chunks compared to the originals in my opinion. They had to change a lot of things about the game series including the name. They chose not to renew the licensing rights they purchased and can't even call any new games Parasite Eve. I'm not sure what a remake of an original game would entail, but they did try an unlicensed sequel and failed to make me happy. Other people may disagree though.
