Game recommendations for the PS2

So I found this really cool deal on the internet, this guy is selling his PS2 for $100 and he's willing to throw in 200 games with it for free. Now I never really owned a PS2 and I really wanted to play with it. So any good game recommendations? He's going to ship me the console and games next week so I would really appreciate some good game suggestions.

But,PS2's must haves would be GTA Vice City,GTA San Andreas & Black. Just off the top of my head.
Half Life is OK too. (Yeah,its the first Half Life)

Oh he didn't really say that he's going to include physical games, like the DVD's and cases and all that stuff. I think he meant the hard drive, he's going to fill it up with 200 games. But I'm not sure maybe he just desperately needs to get rid of all his games.

Okay so GTA Series, Black? The FPS game? Haven't played it yet but it seems good. I may have to pass HL since I've played and finished it a long time ago on my dad's PC.

Need for speed underground 2 chewed up most of my ps2 time.
There still hasn't been a racing game made as awesome as that one was.

The two GTA PS2 games are definitely on my recommendation list. If you're into simulation, you may want to try the Ace Combat games, particularly 4 as well as Zero. If you're a fan of hack-and-slash games, check out the Dynasty Warriors games from DW2 onwards, as the first game is a fighting game.

One of my all-time favorite games. You also need to grab Shadow of Colossus and Resident Evil 4.

I would try to recommend some, like Red Dead Revolver- but if you're getting 200 games with the deal, I'm pretty sure that lot must include most of the great ones already. It'd be cool if you posted a list of the games when you recieve them.

I'll add Psychonauts and the Sly Cooper trilogy to the list. I spent so much time with my PS2, I'm embarrassed I can't think of more recommendations off the top of my head.

That is because there is like 10000000000000 good games on the PS2.

Oh of course you have to check out the Persona titles.

Goddamn Time Splitters!!! You can probably skip the first one, but Time Splitters 2 and Future Perfect are wonderful.

The PS2 had the best game selection of games of all time. Just look through what your tastes are and there is bound to be a game that caters to it.

GTA Vice City is a must. It's certainly one of the best games that I come across on the PS2.

Tomb Raider : Angel Of Darkness is also another quality game. One of the last of the 'proper' Tomb Raider games before Crystal Dynamics got their hands on it and totally screwed up the controls. It was a decent, underrated game in my opinion. Then again, I'm a huge fan of the series.

Another one (or two) would be Red Faction and Red Faction 2. These were made at a time when FPS titles weren't not overly complicated/busy and at a time I actually enjoyed playing them. I have lost literally days of my life on these two games.

For motor racing on the PS2, one of the more obvious choices is Gran Turismo 3 & 4.

The Sly Cooper Trilogy, as someone mentioned on here, was amazing. I recommend that as well.
