Game Save question

Can PS4 game save work on the PS5 game version.
I have the PS4 version on RE:Village. Will them saves work on the PS5 version?
Only asking as I've recently purchased a PS5 and it comes with Resident Evil: The Village, and I already have that for the PS4.

Yes. The game is BC on PS5. You can even download your PS4 save to your PS5.

Caveat: You need PlayStation Plus. You'll download from the PSPlus's cloud saves.
