Games that deserve a sequel but didn't get any.

Man I saw this thread again and remembered a game that deserve a sequel: Bulletstorm.

Bulletstorm was one of the most fun FPS of the past generation. Amazing gameplay with the skillshots and hilarious banter between the characters. It's too bad that it ended on a cliffhanger and we never got a sequel...

Yeah I remember that, loved it :D

Demon Souls and Heavenly Sword are the two games that never got a sequel. While there are chances that Demon Souls might get one, I don't think we will ever play anther Heavenly Sword.

Noooooooooooooo....I refuse to beleive that...well..nothing has been confirmed exactly whether its dead officially or not.Rumours have been floating around for ages on HL3 and while there are rumours we can always hope.I mean look..we are getting a new Doom finally,so who knows..

Also topic here on Half Life 3: http://ps4forum.com/38-ps4-games/5333-half-life-3-developent.html?highlight=half+life

Rumours have been floating around since the release of Half Life 2 though. It's getting to the point that even if Valve does announce a new game, we'll deny that it ever exists. It'll get to Duke Nukem Forever status;"I'll only believe it's coming out and isn't a hoax when I finish the game, and don't get a big 'Haha fooled you' at the end".

I'd say Red Dead Redemption, that's the only one I can think of at the moment. It was a really fun game, like a western GTA, and a sequel would be great.

Deadly Premonition. That game was absolutely amazing and I would buy a sequel in a heartbeat.

Deadly Premonition is a true masterpiece. I'm playing the PC version right now, but I already beat it on 360. I gotta say, the second playthrough when you already know the story is amazing.

I think that Deadly Premonition definitely has more that could be explored, either as a sequel or as a prequel, but I think it wouldn't be as good since it seems we've already seen the most important case of Francis Morgan's life.

I just thought of this. A game that deserves a proper sequel (not the sequel it got) was Syndicate Wars. It was amazing on PSX; simple yet involved a lot of tactics. I have no idea why they decided to take a tactical game like that and make it into a FPS. Though, I can only imagine if that game went back to its roots as a top down strategy game and put online functionality on it, either you work together as Sydicates or fight against each other like Eurocorp and Church of the New Epoch. I think it would be really good and a lot of fun.

Enslaved would be my choice for a sequel and I think that it could bear more than one. I loved that game and my friends were also heavily into it. It was a game that normally I wouldn't play but I got hooked on it.
