Games you felt embarrassed to play with other people around

Have you ever played a game wherein you felt embarrassed playing it when some other person was around like your parents or uncle or girl friend? This is how I felt when I was playing Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cumlaude. It was full of green jokes and nudity that I didn't want to play it with somebody else watching. What about you?

You're right on the money. :) I was pretty embarrassed to play that in the living room myself, although now looking back, I have to admit I've forgotten why. I think it's because everything has gotten raunchier nowadays and things like these wouldn't really surprise anyone anymore, but back then, it certainly stood out.

Well, most of my family are Jehova's witnesses, not me though even my other half is. So when I play cod or bf they leave the room every single time, or even the house. Least I know how to keep company out haha. Also God of War too, my sister walked in during the HUGE boob sex scene..

Ok so, my cousins, my brother and my grandpa (Yes my grandmpa) was watching me play Dark Souls and I literally died and died and died for 15 minutes straight. They laughed every single time. I got angry and stopped playing. ALSO when I have game nights with friends and/or family, I do horrible on COD: Black Ops and Ghosts and can't get a kill. I just wanna do awesome and I can't :(

I was embarrassed to play GTA Vice City when my dad was watching me play and I picked up a prostitute. It was like:

"Did you pick up a ho?"
"Yes sir."
"You gonna take her over in that old alley over there?"
"..."
"...well?"
"Yes sir."
"So they're not going to show everything, huh?"

I used to dance with the dance pad while playing Dance Dance Revolution alone. I feel embarrassed when my dad and younger brother are around while I am dancing. All I want is to enjoy playing my games while I am alone and no one else is watching.

Playing Catherine and Bayonetta with my Mum in the room was kinda awkward - especially when you're a straight female. ^.^'

Also seconding DDR.

AH, it was definitely Vice City. I had a very embarassing moment when I was still living at home and I was banging a hooker. My dad was outside my door and heard the moaning. He said "that'll make you go blind". I wanted to crawl under the bed in embarassment.

The other one was any RPG really, when I had friends over, I never wanted to play an RPG because it seemed so nerdy and I didn't want portrayed as that. As I grew up I stopped caring, but when I was younger it definitely weighed on my decision

RPGs were always bad to play around friends when I was younger. They needed something mind numbing and attention holding or something.

RPGs are terrible for group viewing of a game or demonstrating a console. "I got this new PS2! Watch me play this heavily menu driven JRPG! Hold on, I gotta read this...no, there's no voice acting." *pressing X button to advance*

I still loved my RPGs regardless.

I had a moment when I was caught in what I call the "embarrassment radius" when someone is embarrassed doing or explaining something and you start to feel embarrassed just by being in the room. A friend was play Atari ROMs on his DC and we got to Beat 'Em & Eat 'Em and he was explaining the purpose of the game to his girlfriend.

...could've skipped the game, but he has this thing where he has to play things in either alphabetical order or chronological order of release. My thing is playing in chronological order of the series timeline.

I hate playing Just Dance 4 when my friends are around for obvious reasons. I'm not much of a dancer and I would never dance in public, not even at dances but when my siblings ask me to play it with their soft puppy faces I can't resist. Luckily, I don't think my friends care too much because I'm playing with my siblings.

Playing Sims isn't too embarrassing in front of other people. It's a game that is hard to keep people's attention while playing. It's like playing an RPG with other people in the room.

I get embarrassed while playing dancing games.

I'm embarrassed to play pretty much any game that has nudity and sex scenes in it. This is mainly because they act as though they've never seen such things on other mediums before and make a big fuss about it just because it's in a game. They have the impression that video games are for little children.
