GAMESCOM 2013: 14 Day PS Plus Trial for Playstation 4 owners!

As soon as you purchase a Playstation 4, you will be offered a free 14 Day Playstation Plus Trial!

This is good, as the first couple of PS Plus freebies for the PS4 are DriveClub and Resogun.

This is awfully nice. Yet ANOTHER smart move by Playstation. A whole month of free would be nice but I refuse to whine about something like that. Your move Xbox...

And I liked the announcement about getting an extra 90 days on your PS+ plus subscription if you sign up before September 20. I chuckled when nobody clapped at that, even though he was pausing for an applause break. That's a pretty sweet deal.

Nice move by Sony. As a 360 gamer, I am apprehensive about their services. So I would like to check it out before subscribing to PS Plus.

Meh 14 days? People seem to be getting excited over nothing here. I suppose that it's enough to try the service out but I think it's us doing them a service and trying the product that we are gonna buy one way or another rather than them doing us any favours here.

It's nice, but 14 days really isn't too much. Would be better if it was a month or so, let people really get a feel for it by enjoying a full month of plus. But yeah, they're obviously doing this to gain subscribers that are still on the fence about the service.

Oh wow, that's pretty neat; never expected them to do this. I guess it doesn't hurt them in terms of sales because it's convincing them to buy the PS+ trial without forcing them to do anything. Good on you, Sony.

Another great pull from Sony. Will this be something that will be constantly or will it only stay during the launch window? Also, for people who cannot use more PS Plus codes, will this still work? Because Sony keeps giving me those 30 day trial codes that don't work because i already used two.

Yeah this definitely another great move by Sony and puts them in an even more favorable spotlight than ever before. Like Haze stated, this is fantastic as one of the free games that comes with PlayStation Plus on the PlayStation 4 is DriveClub. Like I always say, PlayStation Plus is by far the best deal in gaming at the moment and nothing else really compares to it at all.
