Gaming capture devices

So I want to get into Twitch streaming. I know the PS4 can do it fine (have done it before). But what I don't like on the PS4 is the twitch screen takes up a lot of real estate on my screen. But not only do I want to stream my PS4, I also want to stream on my PS3 and PS2. So I want a capture device that can record to my PC where I can stream to Twitch and record as needed to make and edit YouTube videos. I'm deciding against an internal card for my PC and want to get the Elgato. But they have 2 models. The HD and HD60 (which is their newest one). I like the HD60 because it can do 60FPS on the PS4. But it also seems its a bit of a pain in the ass to work with the PS3 and PS2. The HD does 30FPS but comes with adapters to get the PS3 and PS2 to work. Decisions decisions. Titan, if you have a videocamera with a Firewire port, you can use it to digitalize your gameplays.

The connection would be:

TV (output analogical, coaxial) ---> videocamera (input analogical, jack stereo - output Firewire) -----> PC (input Firewire) ----> HDD saves digital movies.

This makes you save many bucks

Don't own a video camera and my TV only has HDMI ports and one component. And my computer was never speced with FireWire in mind capture device is my only option.

Correct. For the chat and the video of you on the screen takes up about a third of the screen and makes your playable screen much smaller.

That bar would still be there, would it not? Last I tried, my ugly mug was still showing up.

Either way it doesn't matter. Even if I get the full screen on PS4, it still doesn't matter because I still want to stream my PS3 and PS2. And this topic was about capture devices so if we can please stay on topic about that.

Oh, I missed this. I saw that on Amazon but people seemed to be a little unsure about it. Though, this one has component which I do need for PS3 and PS2. The Elgato I would need adapters (which I'm not opposed to).

Sorry for the triple post. The more I look into this, I think I'm leaning toward the Elgato Game Capture HD instead of the HD60. The big difference is the HD60 can record up to 60fps. Do many PS4 games even do 60fps? Or any of them for that matter?

I have an Elgato Capture HD and its perfect for me. Very good piece of equipment for the price. Haven't heard much about the Roxio
