Gaming Vs. Your SO

If you're like me then you've had girlfriends who have not liked gaming at all. What are some things that you've experienced in the past and how have you handled it. I've had a lot of relationships where I've heard that I game too much or that I spend too much time doing other things. I tend to actually keep a pretty accurate record of how much gaming I do versus everything else in life. I believe everything is good in moderation, and gaming isn't something I'm going to stop. What's some of your experiences?

Fortunately I haven't had any problems when it comes to girlfriends and gaming. May help that my girlfriend of 4 years is also a gamer and actually enjoys watching me play games.

I never had any problems, I don't game as nearly as much as I used to though. I think I do a pretty good job at balancing work, games, amd relationships. My current girlfriend also doesn't mind my gaming at all.

I've never had any problems. I'm single now but my ex had no issues with me gaming. To be honest she enjoyed it. She didn't play but she would always watch and be into it just as much as I was. I hope when I do get in another relationship, the next girlfriend doesn't mind me gaming either. Don't think I would like that very much since gaming is pretty important to me and I wouldn't want to have to choose between gaming and my relationship.

My GF doesn't really like gaming but she understands that I love it and doesn't interfere, it also helps that I'm able to manage my time to be able to give her attention when she needs.
In return I don't comment too much on her soap opera addiction

I would always choose gaming over a girlfriend, because if she makes me choose then she obviously wouldn't be the girl for me.

Luckily my girlfriend accepts my gaming hobby, and is ok and stuff with it. So yay.

My former significant other was a casual gamer. She would play me in Nintendo games like Smash Bros., Mario Kart, Mario Tennis etc. She wasn't that good though. Men are socialized into video games at such an early age and we tend to be more competitive than women. I always beat my SO in the games but I took it easy on her so that she could get some sort of enjoyment out of the experience. Honestly, I would be a little bit let down and embarrassed if a female beat me at any video game. Do you feel the same?

My missus play's some games in her android phone,she has a Nintendo NDS Lite,and PSP, a Wii and also plays on PS3.
So it sound like she's a big gamer..lol..not really.The Wii,PSP and NDS dont really get used much but she play PS3 a bit,lego games,Ratchet Clanck etc etc.
So we both understand we like out own particular game types and alternate on using the PS3..lol.Though really she isnt on it as much,until a new Lego game is released anyway..lol
Infact she sometimes play Black Ops 2 with me too even..guess Im lucky in that way.

People who dont play games,they are usually low IQ.Every gamer is smart,and by playing games you become smarter(not including Call of Duty or other type of comercial games).I mean on point and click,adventure games,explorer games,but also some games with really interesting story and gameplay that will push your mind to think and learn.Persons who dont use really their brain,when the time pass,they will start using it far more less,and there is no end to it because you cant make them think if they dont want to.

Those people who says that they read a books and dont play games(for example) they maybe look smart,but game is much more interactive than a book.When you play game you read,watch,listen,manage items and all kind of things that set your brains ready to learn.
A lot of things arent just good or bad.It depends how you see those things,and use them.
