God of War Ascension

What are your thoughts on God of War Ascension in comparison to the previous God of War games? Good? Bad? Do you feel like it was true to the original games?

Honestly, I really enjoyed this game. Then again, the only GOW games I've played to completion are God of War 1 and Chains of Olympus. The multiplayer I don't really think was needed, but hey, that's just me.

The best God Of war is in my GOW 3.
"God Of war ascendancy" was really not necessary. I just finished the game without really being impressed.
I had too high expectations, but it's still a good game

The multiplayer was, meanwhile, completely useless.

It is a sold game, but couldn't supersede it's predecessor, God of War 3. As Haze has stated multiplayer is not that good.

I liked this game and I agree with everyone here that it doesn't beat out its predecessors. I also agree that the multiplayer was useless. I like all of the GOW games except that one. They really did not need it.

It wasn't as good in terms of gameplay, but the setting was beatifully done. So it is good in different aspects, but I think GOW 3 was still better if you put everything together.
