I was really confused to why is there a new Gran Turismo for the PS3 instead of the PS4, then i realized that it has been always two installments for the series in each of the Sony's consoles.

Will get it when the price drops.

I'm excited for GT6. I've played all the other franchises so I don't see why I would miss out on this one. It's clearly going to be the best yet and I have to say that, as always, the graphics look to be amazing.

I do hope that the developers would fix the imbalance of the previous Gran Turismo and create the cars with equality. GT 5 had cars that were hyper detailed and some cars that were less stellar looking. Also, some environments seemed to be beautifully detailed and some looked rather bland. It caused a lot of inconsistency in the look of the game. I hope that this will not be the case with part 6.

I can't remember whether I've played any Gran Turismo games after Gran Turismo 2, but that was one of the finest games I've ever played. I clocked many, many hours on that game, and that was back when I was young and wasn't really playing "properly." The career mode was really interesting, but I've found that I generally prefer arcade-style racing games to simulation-type ones. Still, I'd really like to get back into Gran Turismo, and I'm looking forward to playing this one at some point in the future.

I really liked the old gran turismos and I think this looks like the best of them all, but as others said I do hope that they add a better level of refinement to it, some of them were inconstant.

I noticed they didnt mention a damage model, meaning they still dont show damage well. I wonder if this game will have premium cars.

I'm hoping that this is good. It looks really interesting and honestly a good racing game would be great because Need for Speed was pretty average. I wish that we had a better idea of damage but I can understand for now why we didn't see them. They'll probably release more information around VGX in December, but if they don't show a damage model then we'll know if there were any real improvements.

I definitely want a good racing game this cycle, and at least for me Need for Speed was a huge disappointment. I didn't hate it, but I had some major issues with it. The tutorial is brutal and I didn't love the driving. I'm really hoping that Gran Turismo can bring back what's fun about racing titles, but we probable won't here more until December.
