Grand Theft Auto V title update improves anti-cheat measures

Rockstar has released Grand Theft Auto V title update 1.09.

According to a post on the Rockstar Support website, the latest patch boosts anti-cheat measures while introducing fixes for several GTA$ and Reputation Points exploits.

The last GTAV title update, 1.08, launched in December, adding a new 'Capture' game mode alongside multiple fixes and gameplay tweaks.

Rockstar also released development tools which enable players to create their own custom deathmatches and race scenarios.

The studio plans to release "substantial" GTAV DLC this year in the form of single-player story expansions.

Heh - Still no news on Heists.

Once that's released then maybe I'll fire up the 360 to play this again, but for now I have no intention of playing it despite what they release with these patches.

The released development tools sounds pretty interesting if there’s actually a creative communal base like what Skyrim has done for so long now for the PC. Other than that, even with the anti-cheat measures, they could never boost the anti-teenager-angst contingencies, haha.

Wow, been waiting on these bug fixes for a while especially the ones relating to the cheaters, cheaters pumpkin eaters; and also the reputation points.

I'll be honest I cheated for rp, random dude gave me millions so money didn't matter I just got annoyed of having to grind and still getting the same missions from level 5. I'm mad I missed out on a lot of missions but all I really was interested in was heists.

I really hate it when people cheat online. I don't care if anyone wants to cheat in the campaign since you're playing alone and it's your game but those that cheat in online ruin the experience for other players. They are killing the spirit of fair competition.

Yes cheating is silly and I'm usually 100% against it but my level didn't effect anyone. The money cheat is the one that truly is unfair and messed the game up immensely. Everyone is running around with tanks now

Can not say I ever really cheated, the closest I could say to having done so in GTA Online would maybe grinding that one mission that took like seconds but even then once my friends and I got bored of it we ended up just faffing about and getting levels anyway.

I need to pick up GTAV again, after 5 hours on multiplayer and a ton of hours on single player, I got very bored. Then they gave us a ton of money and it didn't feel right. I can't wait til more updates and though the main reason I stopped playing online is cause of cheaters, I still might not play for awhile.
