Grandia for the PS1

Did you play Grandia for the PS1? It was a turn based RPG that had graphics that seemed to be a cross between the Breath of Fire series and Xenogears. Though the story was a bit on the kiddie side, I found the game to be very enjoyable because the world was massive and it really gave me the feeling that I was traveling an entirely new earth. I still have fond memories of the game. Do you?

I always had a soft spot for jrpg, this one was no exception; I don't remember too much about it though.

This game is so amazing, an absolute classic JRPG. Just thinking about it makes me all giddy and nostalgic, i think i might play it again soon -- it has been over a decade since my last playthrough.

Justin and the gang really gave me a lot of memories to ponder upon. However, when I made the shift to the PS2, I was no longer able to play another Grandia game. I think there was a part 2 and part 3 released for the console but I was unable to get them. Has anyone here played the Grandia games on the PS2?

I always wanted to play it but somehow it never came to it. It looked awesome back then and the reviews really gave the impression that it must be an outstanding game. Maybe not like Final Fantasy but still in another way a game you wouldn't want to have missed.
