Graphics on the PS4. How much better then PS3's?

So basically, I just want to ask everybody here who were lucky enough to grab a PS4 - how are the graphics? By this, I mean does it really feel like the next-gen graphics? Is it a huge improvement over say PS3 graphics, or only slightly above?

Looking at them while playing 2K14 I would say slightly better. Not a huge graphical leap or anything.

Dont forget how first gen games on PS3 looked compared to a few years later.
Look at Call of Duty 3 and Medal of Honor Airborne compared to the later Modern Warafare's and Medal of Honor's.

That's a good point, the graphics will be better later on--say the middle of PS4's life span.

Oh and SXB, I also played NBA 2K14 on PS4. A sports game isn't really the best measure of how good the graphics look on a new console...or at any point in a console's life span, really.

Just check out Skyrim and MGS4, they pushed the power of the PS3 and this is just the beginning of PS4. What I played at gamestop, yes it's a great improvement but there will be a lot more improvements. Look at Battlefield 4 compared via PS4 and PS3. Huge freaking difference.

Until real PS4 games come out you're not going to notice that much difference in graphics. A lot of the games out now for the console are just slightly upgraded versions of PS3 games like AC4. But when games like The Crew, and Watch Dogs come out...that's when we'll really start to see what the PS4 is made of.
