Just joined the forum a week or so ago, and I have been enjoying it so far. Pleasure to meet all of you! :D

About me: I have lived in the Pacific Northwest for most of my life and I currently work at home, where I reside with my wife and 2 dogs. I have been gaming since the Commodore 64 and NES era, for well over 20 years, and have a strong passion for gaming, web development, graphics design, and technology. For the past 5 years or so I have been a leader and web admin for the Seriousless Gaming Community, a primarily PlayStation-based group of casual gamers. I own multiple PS3's, a PS4, a 360 elite, and a Wii. While I do enjoy some of the xbox exclusives and don't consider myself a fanboy, my preference for the games and the hardware has always been for PlayStation.

I mostly use my PC for graphics design and web stuff these days, but I used to be big into PC gaming back when the original Half-Life and CounterStrike first came out (I actually played the early betas with the creators). I was also very into the MMO scene during the early MMO days of Everquest, Asheron's Call, DAoC, early-WoW, etc and had beta tested almost every MMO released prior to WoW. I also used to build gaming PCs around that time and became very familiar with computer hardware as well as home theater related equipment and sciences.

I also enjoy streaming video games, but rarely find time to have a set schedule for it. This is largely due to the fact that once I start, I tend to keep the stream going for hours and hours, sometimes much longer than I should and it tends to interfere with other things I should be doing. I used to stream through my capture card on PC with the PS3, but the software and the setup always took like 20 minutes or more just to start, so once I got it going I didn't want to stop. Along came PS4 with it's awesome streaming features, and now I am so spoiled to how easy it is, I'm not sure I could ever go back to streaming through my desktop again. One memorable stream was when I had over 100 viewers watching me play Just Dance 2014 last Superbowl Sunday, that was a lot of fun, lol.

Anyway, enough about me. Thanks for reading if you did, and hope to make some longtime gaming friends here! Peace.

Already been reading your posts in the forum Xanj but nice to read your 'official' intro topic now too.

So an 'offical' welcome to the forum from me :Onya
