Rockstar have released the official trailer for the upcoming (and highly anticipated) Grand Theft Auto V which you can check out below:

Was waiting for this for two days and ended up mildly disappointed just because it was so short. I know it's suppose to be a television commercial, but still was expecting something around 3 minutes at least.

But hey, miniguns, jets and tanks confirmed, so i am pretty happy with it!

To be honest I'm more excited for GTA Online at this point than GTA V. But I guess GTA V will be a good distraction till GTA Online launches!

That game looks so awesome, they are actually making it seem like a persistent world with us owning cars, apartments etc. Truly a gamer's dream, a GTA MMO!

Very impressive trailer. I feel like Grand Theft Auto 5 can do no wrong. This is the one game that I need on day one. I'm excited for all the mysteries and secrets that will be revealed in the game. Rockstar has always been fun and inventive when it comes to this type of thing.

My excitement for this game is comparable to a 13 year girl's excitment for a One Direction concert. I am a full grown man and will be taking a sick day from work (or two) for the release of it. I just got done watching the GTA Online trailer and it make the $50 fee that I will have to pay to play online look well worth it. The concept of working together with other online players to stage heists and various other missions is amazing. I also noticed that you can fully customize your online player, which is a feature that I would love to see in the regular gameplay. I would like to control a character that looks like me which may be vain but I can't help thinking that would add a lot of fun for me.

Counting down the days to it's release is like counting down the days to Christmas! Can't wait.

My goodness, that looks exceptional. Everything just looks like it's on another level! The visuals, the crimes, the interactions. It's a shame they're making a different game entirely for the multi-player though.

Nah, we have to come up for air eventually... and then we'll come on here and post forty thousand threads about how awesome this game is. Then we'll post thirty thousand more full of clips and streams and whatnot. We'll make walkthroughs and ask for help on parts and discuss cheats and achievements. You'll have to change the name of the forum is all.

I have seen this trailer a few dozen times now. It aired during Breaking Bad on Sunday and I loved seeing it so much on the big screen that I nearly threw my money at the screen and yelled "Shut up and take my money!!!!"

I've only seen one so far. He's also Australian. I'm about to head out and grab a copy (so excited) so I'm guessing by the time I get back everyone will be playing it.
