Guess I'm getting to old to game.

I suppose it is just a dark moment of your life here. Believe me, you will return to gaming. We all did.

Keep trying bro! You'll eventually come through.

On a more serious note, I CANT HANDLE playing FPS' games on a controller. Try plugging a keyboard+mouse to your ps :3

I'm just 24, yet I still play video games from time to time. Even though I have other activities and obligations, I still get to enjoy a game an hour a day.

Agreed. You just need some more games that are suited to your style of playing!

I know man! In fact, just two years ago, I thought I quit gaming for good, there's no more good games, that's it, I'm done. But when I held the controller again on a friends house, I just went straight back. It's really hard to not play a game.

You're not too old, you're just too old fashioned...

When you are so old that you can't move your thumbs, then you have a problem! Until then, you have thumbs so use them!

Don't give up again yet! You will get better I am sure, and getting frustrated from the constant failures is part of the fun of gaming. Also everybody sucks at some games, for instance I cannot play FPS games to save my life, you just need to keep playing until you find the game that is right for you.

I don't necessarily think you're getting too old to game. You're probably just more worried about other things, and you might be bored with your old games. I wouldn't toss your console; put it to the side and don't play again until you really WANT to. You might find that your burnt-out stage is over.

Meh, maybe you're just into those type of games. Maybe you like side scrollers. You may like indie type of games more. You may be like me and thrive on sports games. Perhaps you like games with more engaging stories. It's really all a matter of taste and I think there's something for everyone out there.

Bit of an old thread, but when it doubt drink beer--it'll help you overcome any gaming mishap.

You cant be to old to game if you love gaming then carry on gaming...im only 23 but my dad whos 44 is still going my uncles are in there 40s still do some gaming they love it!!!

You are never to old to play video games. Remember practice makes perfect. Besides it is better to suck at a game but still have fun playing it than it is to suck at a game and not have fun at all. Just have fun with it, you'll pick it up.

You're not too old. If anything, it has to do with having not played for a long time. You're adjusting to a pretty serious learning curve, because gaming has come a long way in 13 years. The best thing I can say is just to keep at it, or maybe see about lowering the difficulty level. You'll be back on the horse in no time!

Dude, you quit gaming for thirteen years. It's not your age, it's your skills. You're way too rusty especially for killzone and assassin's creed. Games are mentally challenging, if all you did was watch TV, then my friend, you shouldn't expect to go past the first level.

I'd have to agree. Muscles atrophy when they aren't used. OP should just get back into gaming, and try to find the fun in it.

People will tell you that you can never be too old for gaming. When you become too old to be wasting hours of your life, you've become too old for gaming. At some point, family becomes more important.

I'm completely joking. You are never too old for gaming!
