Half Life 3 in developent (?)

Well,I posted in August last year that according to a voice actor Half Life 3 was not in delelopment (http://ps4forum.com/38-ps4-games/1333-valve-voice-actor-says-half-life-3-not-development.html?) but just recently according to Counter Strike co-creator Minh Le who no longer works at Valve Half Life 3 is indeed in development..

Also in the interview, Le teases that another much-anticipated Valve game--Half-Life 3--is indeed in development and he's seen concept art for it.

"There's like a laser sight on my head right now. I don't know if I can talk about that, to be honest. I think it's kind of public knowledge that people know that it is being worked on," Le said about Half-Life 3. "So if I were to say I've seen some images, like some concept art of it, that wouldn't be big news. But I guess I could say that I did see something that looked like kind of like in the Half-Life universe. It wouldn't surprise anyone if I said 'Yeah, they're working on it.' So I mean, to go out on a limb, I would say yeah, I did see some concept art for Half-Life 3. Somebody's knocking on my door right now [laughs]. It seems like old news. I think everyone kind of knows that it's being worked on."

So,what do you guys think? I for one would LOVE Half Life 3.
Half Life 2 Orange Box was one of my fav games on PS3 (the others being Red Dead Redemption and GTA IV and V).
Its mix of adventure/FPS and light puzzle formula was great. A little dated now in the looks department but if you have never played it I suggest check it out,you can get it very cheap now.

Hey, this isn't PS4 games! Lol jk, it could potentially be, but I doubt it.

Anyway, yeah I think it's common knowledge it's there and being worked on. Kinda like Fallout 4. It's just a matter of when it'll be released. There's no way it'll overcome the hype when it does get revealed though. It's just impossible IMO.

I think that, if it's true, it will most likely come also to PS4 and Xbox One, along with PC. Valve has released all their latest games on both consoles and PC.

Regardless, I don't know if I should believe this or get my hopes up...

What? Oh man you are missing out.
Half Life was also on PS2 although a bit dated when it came out on that.
Half Life 2 The Orange Box (as it also contains Chapter 1 & 2 expansions,Portal and Team Fortress 2 MP). It was also dated when it came on PS3 but man,still looks good overall,story is great and some excellent music and sounds in this.The tripod Strider things..just sound awesome.
One level in particular,Ravenholm,just eerie.

I suggest get yourself a copy,you would be able to get it very cheap now.
Only thing may seem a bit weird though is there is no aiming down the sights view,which seems a little odd these days but the game works fine without it. Doom 3 BFG Ed doesn have that either btw.

It really is a great mix of FPS,adventuring and slight puzzle elements.

Honestly it's been so long wanting to see a Half Life 3 that I already lost all flames on it. I've learned through the years not to get my hopes up at the slightest mention of Half Life 3 so that I don't have to be disappointed again.

Cause even when the PS3 version was released it was a port of the 2004 PC version so many have been waiting almost 10 years for Half Life 3 already!

Sure, Half Life might have been revolutionary when it came out, but it no longer is. I don't think valve could manage to revolutionize the fps genre once again. It's gonna be a good game, but nothing more. There's ton of good games coming out every year on many platforms.

False. Half-Life is still revolutionary--when was the last time you played it? Do you understand how the game was revolutionary--what it did for the genre?

At any rate, Half-Life 3 is almost as elusive as Majora's Mask 3D on my 3DS.
