Hands-on impression of the PS4

I was mostly hoping for an unboxing video similar to the Xbox One, but unfortunately not, just a look at the PS4 and opinions. A little look at the controller near the end as well. Decent amount of ports and USB ports on the console which is pretty nifty. The PS4 toned down a LOT in size which you can see in the video, didn't realize how bulky the PS3 was. I also like the design a lot more on the PS4; very sleek and smooth.

Looks very good. Definitely right about toning down the size. I can't imagine how small the PS4 Slim will be (if there is one)

No denying it, that is a beauty. Even more impressive is the controller. I feel like they mailed it in a little on the DS3, especially at launch (no rumble etc). The DS4 is the biggest jump out of all the Playstation controllers so I am excited about it. It's amazing unlike the Xbox how they managed to keep it that size without a power brick.

^ agreed. Not that im too concerned with how the thing looks, it could be a big pink triangle and i'd still get it.

Yeah, while I was hoping for a video that was a little more detailed similar to the Xbox One's unboxing, this was still pretty good. Like everyone else in the thread said, the PS4 is definitely a great looking system and it's design looks similar to the PS2. I also can't wait to finally get the DualShock 4 in my hands as I've heard so many great things about it and how it's Sony's best controller yet.

I think the design is really good and now starting to think it doesn't look like the Xbox its a great design and i love how slim it has gotten since my old ps3 seriously lets hope it doesn't freeze as much.
