Have you ever cried during a video game?

Oh man. I forgot about Hells Highway. Yeah. You just reminded me of that and it was really sad. Especially since Red is so critically injured. What made that especially hard was because you played as Red in Earned in Blood. Both were such good games. Though I never beat Earned in Blood. Got stuck on one mission and no matter what I did, I could not beat it.

Hells Highway was such an underatted game. It got lost in the middle of COD at the time, but the story was EXCELLENT. Like you say when you play as a character in one game only for him to be critcally injured at the end of the other, it was awsome story telling.

Generally I don't play games that would make me cry, I have movies for that. Games have made me pretty angry, especially when I think I got ripped off and lost the game.

Surprisingly, Mafia II left me in tears for a good few minutes. That game was so unsettling for me at the end. I wasn't expecting the game to be anything special, but what I discovered was nothing but an awesome storyline and characters that left me attached and sad. The ending of the game was quite possibly my biggest tear jerker in a video game yet.

Yes I did. I remember playing Dark Souls back then and I just can't stop crying, I don't know why. That game has so emotionally scarred me in a way that every time I play the game I just break down into tears, I don't know why.

I've cried several times while playing video games, but never from anything that happened in a video game.

I've never, um, okay I almost cried during the game Brothers. It was a free download from PS Network. The game was sad from the beginning, then my heart drop at the end. I didn't think I would ever cry through a game!

That was a great game. I didn't cry, but I was sad, and it stuck with me for some time.

I don't really cry much at movies, either. Last time I think was Up. That was embarrassing.

Books, though, I often cry while reading.

Hmmm, no, I don't think I've ever cried playing a video game. I almost did once. I made a bet with a friend playing Street Fighter, and he won. I had to give him my Walkman. That really hurt.

Heck no, why would I, I've cried during movies though... Titanic... and Pearl Harbour... those are real tear jerkers...

The Last of Us made me feel those feels big time. Not ironically, Enslaved was another one where I wasn't about to tear up but it was a game where you just stopped and watched the ending again on youtube and you're like "wow." Final Fantasies sometimes are included in this area, but I too thought that Kingdom Hearts had an ending that was tearing at your being. This was a time where a pre-18 year old kid taking a sword and stabbing himself in the last half of the game was something you would thought to have never seen. Then go through all the rest of the game. I mean, where would you see such a dark plot given the word Disney in the title. Really good stuff there.

The end of Season 1 of The Walking Dead hit me pretty hard, along with To The Moon. I'm sure there are others, but these definitely stick out in my mind.

I have never played to the Moon, but have heard a lot of good things about it. It's about time I try it.

I don't think I've ever actually cried properly whilst playing a game, but I've certainly had several moments where I've felt myself just beginning to well up and/or had that typical lump in my throat.

The first game that ever done this remains one of my all time favourites - my old 'champion of all games' - Silent Hill 2. The plot in that was by far away and beyond anything I'd ever played until that point and for many years afterwards. I can't express just how much I love that game.

The second game to bring me to the brink of tears would also have to be The Last Of Us - my current 'champion of all games'. I have to take my cap off to Naughty Dog for producing this. They have certainly shot up in my estimations since this.

The third would have to be Telltale Games The Walking Dead. Absolutely incredible series that I highly recommend to anyone who loves plot driven games. Telltale are about the best in the business for this. The first series is probably the better of the two to date, but the second also impressed me.

I can't think of anything else off the top of my head.
