Have You Played Thrill Kill?

The very first hyper violent game that I have ever played was Thrill Kill. It featured several weird and bizarre characters that took place in a free for all fight to the death tournament. Think of Mortal Kombat x Smash Brothers. I was drawn to it because of its extremely violent style. But aside from that, it featured four player simultaneous play which was extremely lacking back in the PlayStation One days. Have you played Thrill Kill? What are your thoughts on this game?

Lol. It was for the original PlayStation. However, it was banned due to the content of the game. It was deemed too violent back in the day. It was like the current gen Mortal Kombat but with 32-bit graphics. There's even a wikipedia article about it. I can't post the link though since I currently don't have 30 posts here in the forum yet. I was able to grab hold of the game before it got banned. Lol.

Hey guys, allow me to put some images of the botched Thrill Kill game here. I gathered the images from Google. Take a look at what the carnage looked like during the 32-bit PS1 days.

(Look at the guy holding a leg as a weapon. Pretty weird game indeed.)

Oh, i remember playing that when i got a CD from my cousin full of PS1 games. I kinda liked the game, maybe because i enjoyed Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 for the Genesis and thought it was a cool fighting game idea.

I liked it too. It was the first ever 3D four player fighting game on the PlayStation. I hope that this game would receive a remake. I bet it would make Mortal Kombat look like Super Smash Brothers. Lol.

Wow. Definitely looks like a blood thirsty game. I like that ;). Personally, I've never played it (though it looks like I could enjoy it). I had a relatively sheltered childhood as far as violent gaming is concerned (my parents didn't like it), but ever since I bought a computer they've been unable to stop me. Mwahahaahah. Anyway, the first violent game I every really came across was mortal combat, and I've been hooked to the genre ever since (that and survival horror).

Welcome to the twisted and sinister club of blood thirsty gamers. I don't think that you'll make your mommy proud though. Better come off clean before she finds out. Lol.

I would have to say that the combat is more similar to Power Stone for the Dreamcast than Super Smash Bros, mostly because of the 4 player arena type of style.

Yup, you're right on that one BlackSolaris. The arenas of Power Stone are a lot more similar to those in Thrill Kill than Smash Bros. I just wanted to make an exaggerated example since Smash Brothers is also a free for all 4 player fighting game but features kiddie characters while thrill kill features demonic ones.
