Healing Strategies

Ok so I'm working on playing a Templar healer. And so far I basically spam Regeneration and an AoE Heal to keep everyone alive. With the occasional big direct heal if my tank forgets to block or can't. So far this has worked for me but I have to say ESO has one of the most interesting healing designs I've personally seen. What works for everyone else. Is there better options of healing while leveling?

MIx DOTS with instants I forget the name of the big yellow circle everyone can stand inside but it works swonders
