Thought I'd take a bit of time to find a decent site for all things Sony / PS, looks pretty busy and active here, so thought I'd register and say hello!
Little bit about me, name's Grant, turned 30 last week (proper old now) and hail from sunny Slough, Berks, UK - some of us have to.
With the big birthday 3-0 being right on top of the launch date for the PS4 in the UK, seemed like the ideal thing to try and bag, with a bit of a smiley face on and A LOT of hassle in actually finding one the day after its release.
Literally took up my whole weekend and about 50 round miles, eventually bagged one in a package deal, PS4, one controller, Killzone, Ghosts and Putty Squad - the last one isn't actually that bad, cheeky little intro platformer type thing!
Traded in my old PS3 and 24 games as well - won't even tell you what I got for that lot, shocking. Let's just say; under £100. Unreal really, but it did take it off of the already dear price.
Treated myself to a new 40" Sony Bravia as well, very impressed with the rig to the PS4, much much sharper than Samsung's that I've had for years.
Anyway, enough of my rambling. Weekend's here, beers are in and it's time to get online shortly, barely touched Ghosts!
