Help confused

Hi new here today but not to the Gaming World. Since last week every time I turn on my PS4 it states " Checking the system storage status, Do not turn off the PS4. After the check has completed, the PS4 will automatically restart. Then it asks me to connect a PS4 DualShock controller with a usb. I do this and it states I need to connect it with a 3.00 or higher usb cable. Then it shuts off, then turns back on. It then precedes to go through the same thing all over again. This happens about 4 times then it asks us to report the problem and we do. Then the PS4 goes back to acting normal. Only thing we have done in the past 2 weeks or so is buy a couple of games, and 2 new OEM PS4 controllers. And help will be greatly appreciated.

Since the console is new, contact Sony asap. You can't do anything if the fault lies with the software. It may also be a problem with the hard drive or the general hardware itself. I wouldn't tinker with it any longer but instead wager on the customer service.

If that doesn't work: factory reset the console and borrow the cable from a friend who doesn't have that problem. Keep us updated, friend!
