Hey there. New here...and new PS3 owner too

Hey everyone,

Well, I thought this forum looked cool so I decided to join up. Most of my life I've been a Nintendo player and only just recently got a PS3. Man, I wish I would've gotten one a long time ago! Sony's got another lifelong fan now.

You can probably tell what my favorite game is from looking at my avatar or username. I've probably put 200+ hours into it and I consider one of the very best games ever made. (Sadly, I played New Vegas before Fallout 3, so I couldn't get used to it very well.) It was the second game I played on the PS3, and I was just astounded! I simply could not believe how much was in the game. It dwarfed anything I had ever played before.

I love to play games for story and character development, and so Fallout was right up my alley. Other than that I have also played Borderlands and Black Ops 2 (of course) and those are also impressive to me. But massive overworld exploration games are my brand new favorite genre and I'm looking forward to expanding my repertoire when it comes to those.

Anyway, happy to be here and I'm looking forward to taking part around the forums.

Welcome Courier! I've had New Vegas sitting on the shelf for a long time and am still yet to play it. Better get around to it I suppose!

Yes, Haze, definitely play it. I've heard talk of a Fallout 4 that will be coming out eventually. And if you want to play all the DLC, definitely start sooner than later! I got all the DLC for it weeks ago and I am still not finished with it all...but then, I am a perfectionist for games a lot of times. The first time I played New Vegas, a week disappeared and I literally did not know what had happened to it!

Anyway, glad to be here! I'll see what other great series I can discover too.
