Hitman vs Splinter Cell

My favorite stealth game of all time is Metal Gear Solid. But I did like the Hitman games and Splinter Cell games. Their realism was what caught my interest. The only problem is that I found these games very hard to finish. I still haven't finished most of the Splinter Cell games and I've also given up on Absolution. Anyway, which series do you prefer - Hitman or Splinter Cell?

For me it depends on what I feel like playing, they may both be stealth games but they are still pretty different from each other.

For the record, I like Hitman a lot better. I think that the lead character of Hitman, Agent 47, is more interesting than Sam Fisher. Also, I think that the locations wherein the world of Hitman takes place is a lot more varied than that of Splinter Cell. I also think that the opponents of Hitman are a lot cooler.

I think they are entirely two different things for two different moods. Hitman is probably my favorite amongst these games, because it knows that you are probably going to share how you dealt with a situation with your friends and it really knows what it is. What other game do you grab an invite off a drunk, dance on the dance floor and then throw a guy to the gators all in one level? Also, its a bit more sadistic than splinter cell in my opinion, you have timed areas and levels where (X) (Y) and (Z) take place, while Splinter Cell is like "You know that (X) is going to happen, whatever (Y) and (Z) is doesn't matter because you focus severely on (X) during a level"

This is a very difficult decision for me to make since I am a big fan of both franchises. Honestly, they are in their own worlds and it's quite hard to compare and to choose who's better. I guess the only comparison I can make is that Hitman games tend to promote more on being "open-world" and giving you the choice on how you'll finish your task, while Splinter Cell games are more straight-forward and linear. Nonetheless, I love both series! I want a crossover!

Hitman all the way champ. The Hitman series is the best collection of stealth games ever. That is just my humble opinion. The missions are challenging and fun and the settings are awesome. I also like how badass the lead character is. I loved being Agent 47. These games really gave me satisfaction when i finally beat them.

I am also going to be going with Hitman on this one. I have been a big Hitman fan ever since I first started playing it. It's graphics were great along with its gameplay. Overall the game gave me great entertainment while playing it. It was never a dull moment while playing Hitman, although Splinter Cell was one of the best games I played as well. It is really a tie for the competition.

I prefer Hitman.One of best part for me is Hitman 4 .Splinter cell is something that i played on my cell phone several years ago.Pc version,hm....
