How many of u guys completely switched to ps4 after its release and no longer use the ps3? Did you sell it, trade it in, keep it or what? personally mine is sitting right next to his younger brother with plenty of gaming to come.

I'm still with PS3, but my sister jumped to PS4 and gave her PS3 to my mom. My mom was really pleased with just the PS2 since it's more of a straightforward, pure gaming console: put the disc in and play, no updates, no friend messages, etc. But it's another way to keep everyone connected in a way since my other sister still has her PS3 as well.

I completely got rid of my PS3 from the TV room where I play games because I have a Roku Box, ASUS DNLA/UPNP player, and a TIVO hooked up to the other HDMI ports with the PS4 also. I currently have my PS3 in the PS4 box. I do have another PS3 on the larger Plasma TV in the living room but it is hard to play the PS3 in the living room as I bought that one more for watching BD movies than anything else. The wife and kids watch TV a lot in the living room so I generally don't have much of chance to play PS3 games on it.

I pretty much decided to wait it out until better games are released for the PS4. In the meantime, I have been playing a lot casual games on my tablet. There are of course no games like Uncharted but there are a lot of fun games for cheap or free especially puzzle type games available for Tablets than can be a lot of fun at least until Infamous: Second Son and Watc Dogs are released for the PS4.

Opposite for me. I think I have spent more time on my PS3 since getting the PS4 then I did before it. With the lackluster library for the PS4 I quickly tired of it. This is not to say anything bad about the PS4, It just needs to expand it's library. I actually went out and bought a TB HDD for my PS3. I figure it will be some time before I need to do that with the PS4.

I sold my PS3 back at the beginning of summer. I was finding I wasn't playing it at all, so I listed it online to try to get a decent payout to put towards the Ps4

You probably got a good bit of money for your PS3 compared to what you would get now or later on.

I wonder how much I could sell the PS3 I don't have hooked up right now for? I have about 20 AAA titles on the hard drive and probably close to 80 + total games counting PSN games, minis, and others. I also have physical discs for 100 + games which include all the big games such as Uncharted 1-3, The Ratchet and Clank, Infamous 1-2, and the Last of US. I know I could sell the games separately and make more money but I am seriously thinking of just posting the PS3 with all the games, extended hard drive, 4 controllers, PS Move controllers, PS3Eye, and other accessories all for one price. It would be a heck of a deal for someone who wants an instantcollection of all the best PS3 games plus games from every genre.

I listed mine with just 2 controllers and 5 games, and got $170. At this point it would probably only generate $100 tops.

With everything you have you could probably get around $500-$600, but I would consider trying to sell some of the games seperately if no one bites on the whole bundle. 100 games may be overwhelming for some

By game exclusively do you mean only use the PS4 instead of the Xbox One? If that is the case, my hand is raised, unless you're rich, or a YouTube gamer, I really do not see the need to have both systems. I'll stay Sony until the majority of my friends cross over to Microsoft, but until then it is the Playstation 4 all the way. Started with the PS2, to PSP, to PS3, and now I'm on the PS4. Let's hope the trend continues.

There are some exclusives for the 360 I would have liked to have but there were just not enough to make me pay the cost of the 360. I think once Mass Effect was ported to the PS3, I did not have any reason. I have never been big on Halo or Gears of War. Alan Wake was supposed to be a good game

BTW, What is a youtube gamer? I must be behind on the trends?

I had PS3, I sold it. I decided to keep my XBOX 360 as I use it to watch TV and play GTA V. But I hardly go on it since PS4.

I've kept my PS3 and just switch betweem them freely.

The problem I have is that while I have two PS3s, it is rare that a get a chance to play it on the living room one on the 67 inch Plasma as it is used mainly to watch Blurays and DVDs.

I disconnected my PS3 from the TV room and hooked up the PS4. The 42 inch LCD tv has 4 HDMI inputs and one is used for Roku box, one for the Asus Media Player(DNLA Media Player0, a original WII is hooked up to the 3rd HDMI port and so I would have to get an A-B box for adding HMI inputs or disconnect the PS4 and reconnect the PS3 in order to play it. Space is an already an issue in the TV room so I am just sticking with the PS4 for now.

I kept my PS3 simply because there are a lot of games that I haven't played for it that are on sale right now. There is no reason for me to really touch my PS4 right now until the Spring. It's the perfect time for me to catch up on a lot of titles that I've missed so I'm pretty excited for that.

I cant get rid of the Wii because my youngest son likes it so I may end up disconnecting the PS4 and hook up the PS3 for a while.

The 65 inch plasma has 7 or 8 HDMI ports but the 42 inch LCD only has 4 HDMI/two RCA ports, and one VGA ports.

If I replace the TV in h the TV room, Iam going to look for a 40something inch which at least 5 - 6 HDMI inputers if they make them.

That's the thing there isn't anything going on for the PS4 except Resogun right now. That's the game that's interesting on the PS4 and not enough to keep me comng back to it. I've been using my Wii U a lot (3D World is awesome by the way) but I've picked up my PS3 again and have gotten a lot of games on the cheap that I'm planning to play.

Sony needs a big game release right now. Although I am looking forward Infamous Second Son, I don't know that is the console seller they need released.

It would have been nice if Sony had Naughty Dog release something.

The only knew on the PSN since day 1 are two different pinball simulations and ports of Flower and Flow.

I have all been big on Sony but I feel like this is a weak launch. If Watchdogs or Infamous would have come out in the first month then it may have been a completely different ball game. I do want them wait and get the games right over rushing something to market but Sony's PS Plus is a completer rip off for the PS4 right now with Contrast and Resogun being about the only free games.

I sold my 60 GB Fat PS3 to a friend of mine about a month before the release of the PS4. I game exclusively on my PS4 & Vita, and right now I currently Livestream BF4, & KZ: Shadow Fall. Soon I will be getting Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, and will most likely Livestream that as well.

Lol, I switched from the ps3 to the ps4 about 3 days before it even came out. I had to sell my ps3 days before the ps4 came out so that I could buy the ps4. It was really funny too because I had just bought an NBA game for ps3 one month before I sold it. The transaction was worth it though as nba 2k14 for ps4 is 10x better than for ps3.

You lucked out because 2k sports makes good games while I got Madden (I even bought the first Madden game 25 + years ago for the Commodore Amiga). I like Football but hate Madden and refuse to pay $60 + dollars for roster updates. I did want to have a football game. I will say Madden for the PS4 is not great as it has PS3 graphics but the fans where updated and they did a lot of updating on the AI so it is better than EA had to put out.

Unfortunately, I just not am into the NBA at all. I love college basketball only during the tourney. My understanding is 2k14 is about 1000 times better than the EA sports released basketball.

The NFL is so stupid for selling exclusive rights to the NFL to one company. They should sell the rights to all game developers and then take away the rights to developers that do not do it right like Madden.

It is too bad EA has such a big chunk of the market and publishes big games they don't make to. I still try not to buy anything from EA except a Madden once every 5 years and some AAA games that Electronics Arts just bought the software company to release their game.
