How often do you play PS3?

The PS3 in my house comes on every day. I've been gaming a lot throughout the past year. I went through a period where I didn't play as much and as thorough as I used to, but lately I've got back into the grind. Feels good!

It always feels good when you finally get some breathing room to play games or when you actually feel like playing again after a period of inactivity.

I wasn't playing nearly as much as I used to, but my daughter has pushed me into learning guitar with her, so we spend about 2 hours a day playing Rocksmith 2014. As far as normal gaming, I have all but given that up, but my son plays about 2-3 hours a day on most days. Some days he doesn't turn on the system at all, but this is a rare occasion. I try to limit the marathon gaming sessions to one a week, but even that goes by the wayside sometimes.

That will cause them to get suspicious alright. It would be like Sting declining the invite to Vader's White Castle of Fear. It's like..."What did you do all day if not board your unsafe plane, fly over mountains, and go to the White Castle of Fear? I know you didn't sit up in the house in Roos and Zubaz pants and play PS3 all day "

If I had Roos and Zubaz I'd just sit up in the house like Sandman playing PS3 all day. Sandman wouldn't have gone to the White Castle of Fear.

We play our PS3 daily. My husband is a fan of Tiger Woods Golf and Gran Turismo and I like golf and trying to race as well. we also use it as our main movie player since this is hands down the best bluray player on the market. our PS3 rarely sees a day off, but when it does, I am sure it takes full advantage of the day of rest. We love this device and I can't imagine that there will ever be a time when the PS3 isn't being used...unless it's when we finally upgrade to the PS4.

I play when I can, but these days, it only amounts to a couple of days out of a month, if I'm lucky. between work and home responsibilities and trying to get a console away from the kids, there is rarely a chance to play at all. I guess I need to break down and buy my own PS3 and keep it in my room, lol

Moving from being a student to being in full time work changed my gaming lifestyle dramatically. I was the same as you, but now I'm lucky if I play on my PS3 an hour a week. I just don't seem to have the time any more which is a shame, but that's life I guess!

Seriously. That's the worst part about growing up. In college, all I did was play my PS2. Now, with a full time job and a girlfriend, I have to take it when I can get it. Girlfriends are to me the ultimate gaming killer. Though it is nice to get her into watching some of these games. She really liked Beyond and getting into the Walking Dead.

I try to play it everyday as I have a massive back catalog of games to complete before PS4 really kicks off with its own games library.

It really depends on the girlfriend, but my exes generally cut into gaming time with stuff I don't care about. "You need to get a suit for so-and-so's wedding and not your funeral suit." - "So and so is a'ight, but I really don't care for so and so's fiance. It's not something I feel I should by a suit for."

"We're going out to eat with X and Y." - "...who? I know X, but who in the hell is Y?"

"A and B are coming over a bit, we're playing couples board games." - "..."

My girlfriend now is indifferent towards games overall. She prefers to play The Sims, older Sim City, and N64 in peace and I play whatever in peace. We play the N64 and PS2 wrestling games together and I watch her play The Sims but that's about it.

Nowadays? Well, if I'm not playing GTA V, chances are I'm not playing the PS3 at all. With as many game systems as I have, once the new iterations are released the rest become somewhat obsoleted. I imagine I'll still play the PS3 plenty in my life time but right now I'm focusing my gaming on newer releases.

I use it everyday last year before the PS4 came out. This year's been quiet because there isn't any game to play. It's been over two weeks since I've turned on my PS3, I mostly game on the PS4 now because it's a new console.
