Hey Tennisguru! I don't think you'll go wrong with getting your grandson a PS4 down the road. The only suggestion that I would make would be if he is quite young and will be the main game player in the household, you may want to look into a Wii or a WiiU since Nintendo typically gears most of their games towards children. Not all games, but the majority of them.
