I never understood why everyone was talking about this game until I took the time to try it out. I never bothered to look until I checked the Store and found that it's quite small in size. This game is so addictive that whenever I turn on my PS4 now, I'll just play this for hours trying to break my previous record.

I'm not a fan of side-scrollers anymore but it is nostalgic to say the least and yes, this game is f***ing addicting!

Yeah, Resogun is amazing. I tried it out because it was free and I had nothing better to do on my PS4 and I spent the entire day playing it. And hours playing with friends. It's old school addictive, high score addictive. The comibination of the music, sounds, and gameplay can keep my attention for hours before I stop.

Resogun delivers on the hype. It's full on old school and that's what's so awesome about it. I played it for a long time and it's mainly the only PS4 game I put any time in when I'm not playing PS3.

Yes, Resogun is an amazing game! I've probably put more time in it then any other game I have, well except maybe Assassins Creed. Plus it was free! You can't beat free! Speaking of free; wonder if we'll get Don't Starve today or in another PS+ update this month?

Resogun should launch a new wave in side scrolling shooters/bullet hell on consoles because those games are pretty hard to mess up. Even ones that are decent at best tend to be pretty fun. This is such a fun game and really took me back.

It's a great game that took me back and the co-op was great. It's a great callback to old school games, and the music really gets into your head. The graphics are amazing, the boss battles are challenging. It' s a very good launch title.

Great ResoPun. Resogun just dumped boatloads of awesome in what seems like a simple formula. I wonder if it was expected that this would up being the best game on the PS4 that is only available on the PS4 and not the PS3 at launch.

Is it just me or is Resogun screaming for a 3D mode? Super Stardust was da bomb in 3D.

Here's hoping SONY add stereoscopic 3D support in an upcoming software update.

Couldnt agree more. At first I thought this game was simply there to help fill the need for more game however I was sorely mistaken as this game has great content and well worth paying for any gamer. Nice to be surprised by games like this.

I did like Resogun but I couldn't play it for hours because I was never an overly huge fan of scrolling Indie games

It is highly addictive, kinda reminds me of a browser game called cookie where all you had to do was click on a cookie (I know they are not that alike). Fun game too if you have some time to kill.

I think it's ironic that the best launch title for the PS4 is not a retail blockbuster but an indie game. At first I thought that I wouldn't be bothered but now I'm playing this game the most. Which ship are you guys maining when you play?

I use the one with the highest agility/speed (far left of the menu) I find it's speed makes some of the boss battles a little easier.

The final boss is such a prick to deal with no matter what ship though. Took me ages to beat that last level.

It's one of the most surprisingly fun games I have ever seen. It looks beautiful, it plays great and it provides an awesome gaming experience. It's great that a game that appears so simple can be so fun. It's encouraging for the rest of the gaming industry as well.

It is pretty fun to try to beat my own personal bests, but the records on the highscores are just godly. I have no idea how anyone could ever do as well as some of those people have. Does anyone here know if there are ways to cheat for the highscores or something? Just curious.
