I need help with headphones! (Finding some)

So, I went to Best Buy today ok? I see some awesome Turtle Beaches and some other headsets. Normally, they're expensive, and I see that this certain Afterglow is only 40 dollars. I flip out cause last time I was there, it was about 180. I ask a lady, "Hey is this on sale?" she's like "oh man, not again, someone put this on the wrong shelf" I'm like "FUUUUUUUU--!!!" not only do I feel stupid, I feel sad cause my parents almost got em for me, since I'm older, they like to buy me stuff after christmas.

ANYWAYS to the point. What are some REALLY GOOD ps3 headsets. Preferably cheap as hell and will last me awhile. I live in an environment where at night, I can't even make a peep, let alone keep the tv sound on. So I want to hear my gaming through headsets. I just can't afford a damn thing and it's hard finding some. Even on the damn internet.

I appreciate any and all help!

$40.00, I can't afford #$%@. I found some on Amazon but they keep going out of stock. It sucks, I just want to game without bothering anyone else. Turtle Beaches are pretty awesome I hear but super expensive.

Turtle Beach's sound great, but are SUPER sensitive. Both mine only lasted a few months, and I take care of my $%*. Not worth the money if you don't have more to replace them when they break.

That sucks dude, seriously, why make those TB's so expensive if they just break? A few friends of mine said they've had theirs forever but I guess it depends on the version. I need me some of them headsets too, a good convo, no idea when I'll get my ass anywhere to get some, but being able to hear the whole game in headsets, sounds like the pc gamer in me going to console. Bring. It. ON!

Thank you guys! I found some but I can't get them just yet. I will save it and get them when I can, maybe around Tax Return time yes! ooh that just made me happy thinking of taxes..

My friend bought a pair of £30 turtle beech headset and he said the sound quality was great e.g. you could hear footsteps and voices very very clearly and he's never had any issues. He did have a problem where the microphone wasn't working but he had them for two years before that happened.

I have the Sony wireless headphones. Not the Pulse but the ones a bit older. Been pretty sweet so far. Sounds great (virtual surround) and the headset works really good too. Can even mute the annoying kids on COD :) Though I think they might be a bit out of your price range. Though way I see it, you can buy cheap crap that will last you for a few months or you can just invest in a decent set for around a hundred and hopefully not have to worry about it.
