As far as Wi Fi. Your TV doesn't need WiFi, only the PS4 needs Wifi which it comes with so no problems there. And demos are available to all players.

Assuming that your TV is HD ready, its probably an older TV, right? Some of those TVs don't have HDMI so you would need to check. If you don't know what HDMI ports look like, look at your computer for a USB port. Then go in the back of your TV. HDMI look like deformed USB ports that are a little bigger. Or you can go to Google Images

I would suggest to get the full PS HD experience, you may want to think about upgrading your TV at some point. TVs are on the cheap now for a decent 1080P TV. I bought mine a few years ago when I got laid off from my job (figured if I was gonna be unemployed, may as well enjoy it). I just got a cheaper Insignia TV from Best Buy that was 1080P with 120HZ (which I never use the higher Hz and to be honest, for gaming you need nothing more than 60Hz) and only paid I think 300 for it at the time. Then again, that is just me

No problem. I'm here to help.

Hz don't really matter much for gaming. Well maybe with the PS4 if a game runs 60fps. Then you would want 60Hz for the best quality. But really, it shouldn't matter much. Mine was at 120Hz and I set it for that for my PS3 and it really screwed things up that I shut off the higher refresh rate to stick with the default. Just keep your TV at the default settings and you'll be fine.

You can play 60fps games with your 50hz television, but you'll experience some fast motion blur (during racing games, shooters, etc.). It should work for you fine at the moment, but you may want to look at upgrading to a newer TV down the road if money allows.
