I'm a believer!

I wasn't sure that the Vita would be anything special until I was on an 18 hour drive that lasted an entire day. I was bored and I was reading through my book I brought pretty quickly. My buddy was acting like a beast and hogging all the driving of our adventure. My buddy in back was about to fall asleep so I asked to see his Vita.

I played through five chapters of the Uncharted game for Vita. It was a bit temperamental at times and the swiping the screen and cleaning off artifacts mechanics wasn't that fun persay. What was cool, was the graphics were really well done. The battery barely drained at all. The combat and climbing/free run mechanics stayed up to what you would expect in that game.

My hand didn't get tired holding it though I did have to adjust a couple times to keep this from happening. The big thing is that I'm a believer that the Vita is kind of awesome. Especially if you can play your PS 4 games on it.

I might have to get a Vita some day soon (hey, better late then never right?) There seem to be some good games on the Vita. A store nearby has a demo PS Vita hooked up and I remember playing a couple minutes of Michael Jackson: The Experience and found it quite fun. I just hope I can find one cheap enough someday soon. I used to have a PSP, so I would think the Vita would be more awesome x1000.

Thanks for this very thorough review! It's convincing me more to buy one as well, if I someday get over all the other minor issues I have with it, that is. But I agree that it's probably pretty cool to have such a powerful machine in a portable form. Also, I'm not sure what the current one's policies are, but I hope I can at least play my old PSP games on it too.

About that - you can't play physical copies of the game but if you bought them on the PS Store you can play PSP games on the Vita. Just not the physical copy.

Just another reason for me to keep saving up money for my own Vita! I'm definitely excited about it, especially because of the pretty good titles which are often popping up for that device. I wouldn't mind something that could last long as well, especially if you feel like it could actually make it for that many hours. Lastabilitiy is one of the most important traits in my opinion.
