Indie game Nuclear Throne goes exclusive to PS4

I'm a fan of the indies, in fact I would argue that a large majority of indie games are better than a huge chunk of the $60 titles out there. In fact on of the better titles on the PS4 is Resogun. In any case, the devs behind a game that I'm pretty interested in Nuclear Throne has stated that Microsoft's policies have made them decide to make the it exclusive to the PS4.

I can't believe this is the first time I am hearing about Nuclear, I just researched it too and it surprisingly peaked my interest almost automatically. I also noticed a lot of games come to ps4 cause of Microsoft's policies, which makes me chuckle.

Nuclear Throne looks really good and like a fun and interesting indie title that I can't wait for. I'm not surprised that Microsoft's policies has chased another indie dev away since plenty of devs like Johnathon Blow have stated that they went with Sony because their not interested in Microsoft.

If I'm not mistaken, I think Microsoft has always been a little troublesome to do business with in one way or another. I think I've heard and read about these things happening before, but I'm not entirely sure. Either way, it's good to know that PS4 is appealing even to developers and not just the players, because it just means more games in the future.

I agree about indies, and I love that they are getting so much support now. Some of the better indie developers can now get recognition on a grand scale and eventually more funding for bigger titles.

I'm seeing quite a bit about how bad MS's policies are this generation compared to Sony's, so this might start to be a trend.

Indies have been having trouble with Microsoft for the longest. There were several articles this summer about how Sony and Nintendo have been easier to work with (which is funny because Nintendo used to be intolerable if you didn't have a proper studio). Now some are becoming exclusive to PlayStation 4 and others have become Nintendo-only studios.
