How many people are going to play this?

I am actually really disappointed because I don't even play crucible matches, and now there are no more queen bounties for xp. The only crucible bounties I ever got were the complete 5 matches ones. I am terrible at PvP in this game, and none of the iron banner bounties would even be obtainable for me. Am I the only one?

Im pretty terrible at PVP too man but just gotta practice and play around with them legendary and exotic weapons and armor and bring those into PVP. Im not even going back to PVP till i hit level 20 cuz as of right now all i do is die 5 times to my 1 kill lol

I'm lighting it up at Iron Banner. Got to level 1 this evening (it's easy only need 100 rep). Turned in one IB bounty.

I'm 100% Legendary, including Exotic Hand Cannon and Chest piece.. Using Legendary Fusion Cannon. From what I understand it takes into account all of the weapon and armor bonus stats, etc... I was totally ganking in it. It was good. The level one Shader and Emblem are pretty sweet.

PvP in this game is just bad. The person with the more OP secondary or heavy weapon wins a gun fight, or you get blasted by super abilities. There are very few actual primary gun fights, and that's just sad and annoying to me.

I'm playing around with the Iron banner a little bit.

Being only level 25 it's definitely challenging..
But it gives the same marks/rep as normal crucible, but with added Iron Banner rep as well, so I might as well play this instead...

I suck at the crucible, I gave up on an exotic weapon bounty cause I knew it was a lost cause.
But I did give the iron banner a try. It's new gotta give it a shot and really enjoyed it.
I'm level 25 and was matched up with similarly leveled players and I did more or less well.

I hear it is a one week event.

You only get the rep from winning rounds and the bounties.

100 Rep from 0 to 1

1200 Rep from 1 to 2

Not sure what 2 to 3 is yet. I'm sporting the Iron Banner emblem and shader for the bonus rep.

I tried PVP on the demo and hated it. As far as i know (unless they changed it) there is nothing stopping a level 30 entering a game with a level 10.

That is true.. HOWEVER.... in those cases you are in level/gear advantage disabled arenas... So everyone is on a level playing field no matter you level.

Iron Banner takes that away.. Gear and level matter (I don't think anyone under Level 20 can access it anyhow???)

I think pvp is great. Everything you earn on missions transfers over, so I don't think it's totally unreasonable. If you get good at aiming for the head it usually negates any higher rank advantage. It was fun going positive in a room full of 20s back when I was 1-15.

I'm pretty sure the bounty says you need the class item equipped as well.

Nm. I assume it's the armor.

It's the bottom right armor slot. On my Hunter it's a cape. I forget what the piece is called for the other classes.

So I'm buying bounties for the Iron Banner and I skip the highest score one because it seemed unlikely since I would consider myself an average player. Wouldn't you know it, the next 2 matches in a row I got the highest score. Go figure. Now that I bought that bounty it will probably never happen again.

I'm considering a lot of the Iron Banner bounties nearly undoable. I've only been doing the 20 melee kill bounty everyday.

The 10-kills without dying is ungettable lol. Unless you're pro, which I'm not haha.

I've been close to being #1 for score.. but haven't managed it yet. I'm getting well over 4000 points a round. Usually #2 or #3 though.
