A little background: my parents gave me a PS4 for Christmas, but offered to exchange it for a PS5 if I wanted; they got a PS4 since the PS5 is currently hard to find where I live and would not have arrived by Christmas. They also gave me two games: FFVII Remake and Kingdom Hearts III. I'm willing to wait for a PS5, since I'd like to be able to play any PS5 exclusives that come out in the future. However, one question has been bugging me.
Both of those games have DLC. I am aware that DLC already downloaded for PS4 games can be transferred from a PS4 to a PS5, but my question is this:
Can DLC be downloaded on a PS5 for PS4 games that have never been played on a PS4?

Is PS4 DLC available on the PS5 store?
