Is the Ps vita is dead?

i were looking at this and it make me sad, I don't know about ps now be a good thing to play ps3 game on vita. I look at store were I'm form and i can't find ps vita away were, i want a white ps vita silm but it never happen. ps vita game are weak gaphic this 3ds is the ture and i want have a physical copy of a game then download. what you think i should do. I should trade my ps4 and vita for wii u or xbox 1? i like talking to people on my vita and ps4 on psn i don't know if nintendo have the same thing or xbox.
 
Well that just sums it up. Pretty disappointed. I didn't see this article and thought Gamescom would bring better news, stupid move from Sony. If you want to make the Vita attractive, you need first party big games. If I want to play indie games I'll play them on PC and I can't justify buying one just to use it with my PS4. They dropped the ball big time on the Vita and now even though I sound mean I hope they suffer and regret the decisions they made on that console...
 
Technically isn't all this is saying is that Sony won't be focusing on titles? That is perfectly OK considering that most people own a Vita for, again, JRPG titles... which, essentially, are all third-party developers. And let us be fair for a moment here, most of the titles released by SCE on the Vita are among its worst.

Also why on earth would you get rid of your PS4 because the Vita isn't doing so hot?
 
Agreed the Vita's library is only going to grow, even though their technically already is a substantial existing games library for it. What's worse is people think that because their are no major western AAA games, that the only thing the vita is or can hope to be is a indie machine, while completly ignoring all the middle tier Japanese publishers and developers. People also assume that all games coming out of Japan are JRPGs, ignoring all the different genres we've been getting: Idol, Rythm, Visual Novel, Card Game, etc, etc. Another thing is that people think that they need to see that Sega, NamcoBandai, or TecmoKoei label while ignoring that the localization companies are consistently the ones bringing games to the Vita. Seriously look at the games were getting recently there coming from ATLUS, AKSYS, Xseed, NIS America, and Idea Factory International!
 
Lets make this really simple. Uncharted golden abyss, and killzone mercenary, show off just how amazing the vita as a piece of kit actually is. It simply needs more decent titles for it. The system seriously needs a good 3rd person western shooter/hack and slash that aren't really fasted paced that your eyes can't keep up like a lot of the japanese games do.

What the system needs to make it big in the western markets is games like Deadspace or god of war. The reason is the only problem with the vita is when you hammer buttons on the fast action games, you can not but help move the screen around a bit. Slower paced games would be better. Deadspace, The last of us, Heavy rain, resident evil, Remember Me, etc games like that

As soon as a game like ( i'm not saying those games particularly have to be copied just games LIKE them ) that appaers on the system as an exclusive, it will sell like hotcakes!
 
This the problem, they said they going save the ps vita with Playsation Now but the game RENT is i thinking little too high $14 for 90 and $3. when I Rent Sonic 4 ep 2 on i wasn't happy with $3 for 4 hour rent just try Playsation Now. if they going do this with ps vita is dead and this make ps4 look bad also. it is a rip off.

I bet ps vita will sell if the price of Playstation Now game were $3 7 day, $6 30 day, $8 90 day and $15 180 day.

One killer app isn't going to make that big of a difference. The Vita is only dead for people in the western market that are looking for AAA exclusive titles or the people who have already buried it.

They never said they were going to "save" the Vita with PS Now. The Vita could disappear from the face of the earth and it wouldn't make the PS4 look bad. I'm not sure what the "rip off" is?
 
FUCK YOU ALL I love playing with my ps vita and it can do more than 3ds. street fighter and playstation all stat battle was good and by the way I'm a girl.

I Like message and playing with people online that why I like it.

Correct me if I'm wrong... didn't you start this thread? Weren't you yourself asking whether you should just trade it in?

And in defense of my 3DS, it's a great system and well supported. Maybe not as powerful, but power isn't everything. It's a lousy day where I don't play a little animal crossing before I get out of bed and before I go to sleep.

Though yes, it would be nice if Nintendo gave their customers a little credit and let them message friends outside of games.
