They run on completely different software and hardware though, its a good point I believe they were going to merge PC and Xbox One for a while, not sure if that ended up going through in the end? But yeah definitely think it would be interesting, definitely inspire some rivalry.

I had always hoped that there will be such support someday. With the console wars going on forever, I think it would be awesome to have them duke it out online. Team Playstation vs Team Xbox, the sight of it is unimaginable.

I always wondered why we couldn't play against each other if we have the same game. I'd love to play against my friends who have the XBOX, and when I first got mine, I thought we would be able to, but nope. If some of those hackers wanted to get together and find out a way to make that happen, they could make a lot of money. I know Microsoft and Sony would release patches to stop it, but if you could prevent your system from downloading those patches, that would be cool too. I hate updating my system right when I get ready to play my game!!!

It is a shame because both systems have mostly the same games with the exception of exclusives so it would be great if people on both systems could play each other. Right now it's not going to happen, simply because Sony and Microsoft are running on different servers and I don't seem them or their crazy fans being open-minded to it. But in the future, I'd like to see it happen.

Yeah, this maybe some trollin' but it's still a good debate because I do want this to happen. I would love to be able to play friends on Resogun who were on Xbox One (though I don't believe that they have that game). Still games like Warframe and I think DCUO are and I would love to crossplay with friends. I just don't see it happening, though Sony and Microsoft would be able to make a profit on it.
